As Vice President of Marketing and Communications at ECS, Shab Nassirpour leads enterprise marketing strategy for the billion-dollar federal technology company. She leads an award-winning, cross-functional team driving integrated campaigns across capture marketing, brand, digital, content, paid, and earned media—amplifying ECS’ reputation and reach across defense, national security, and civilian agencies. Under her leadership, ECS marketing has transformed into a growth-enabling function—an essential partner to business development and capture teams, establishing early influence, strategic positioning, and brand trust that contribute to win rates. In marketing ECS’ data and AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions, Ms. Nassirpour has built a data-informed marketing engine that integrates analytics, campaign attribution, and MarTech platforms to reach mission decision-makers and technical influencers. Her campaigns have supported over $1B in federal contract pursuits while expanding ECS’ media presence, partner engagement, and award recognition. Through authored bylines, original video series, and event marketing, her team’s efforts continue to help elevate ECS’ presence in key government contract pursuits, employer brand visibility, and customer trust.
Previously, Ms. Nassirpour was the creative director at InfoReliance. As part of the startup team, she was pivotal in branding and positioning the company. She devised branding and marketing plans for new services, software products, and partnerships. She also built and led a matrixed team of UX designers and developers who worked to modernize business applications, intranets, and websites. Shab helped launch immersive customer experiences—including executive demos and solution showcases—that introduced emerging technologies to defense and federal civilian agency stakeholders. Additionally, Ms. Nassirpour supported new business development and proposal submissions. She was instrumental in developing a strong and recognizable corporate identity for the company, helping InfoReliance to make its mark in the defense and federal civilian markets, which led to its acquisition by ECS.
Shab holds a B.A. in Design and Visual Communications from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is a member of the WashingtonExec MarCom Executive Council and previously held a board position with AIGA. She is a two-time WashingtonExec Pinnacle Award finalist and recipient of the ECS Leadership Award, recognized for commitment to excellence and exceptional leadership skills.
